Sodo’s Secret Gem

Seattle’s SoDo district is a primarily known for of all sorts of industrial businesses – but, scattered throughout, are a few great commercial crafty businesses such as this weeks spotlight: Packaging Specialties Store (PS).
PS is a mecca for all things gift wrap, ribbons, bags, cards, tags and stationary – and all of it at a great price too!
I popped in this afternoon while on my way to Costco for gas and decided to pick up some odds and ends for present-wrapping (tags, washi tape and some assorted cards) and other projects – like the DIY organizing tag I made with my new purchases (woot!). And, of course, while browsing I snapped a few photos.
If you’re passing through the area (which I tend to be b/c of Costco), hit them up – I hope you’ll love it as much as I do!

My quick DIY tag: gift card and washi tape purchased from PS, stamp letters and ink! TaDa!

As seen at PS: a few of my favorite things: brown packages (or bags) tied up with string (or ribbons)!
As seen at PS: just when i thought i had the market cornered on ribbons…!
As seen at PS: I covet this wall of paper. if only Michael would let me put up something similar in the guest room!
