70 Degrees = 50 Percent… Weekend Re-Cap

What a weekend! Sunshine (70 degrees!), friends, celebrations and victories!

I blame the sunshine as the reason I was only able to cross of half the items from my dreaded honey-do list. Not nearly as many as I had wished, but those that did get finished were done with gusto!

To recap, I set a goal to complete these outstanding projects/tasks:
  • Sew a new make-up pouch, something like this.
Didn’t quite get around to sewing… too nice to be inside with a sewing machine. Next weekend!
  • 15K training run.
Done! And, not only did I finish but I finished first amongst all females – third overall – with a time of 1:11! Yes!
  • SCRAP Challenge project!
Didn’t get to this either. But I better… the end of the month and challenge is approaching!
  • Mini-Lasagnas for Sunday night dinner with Michael’s sister, Shana.
Done! I made both a meat and a veggie. Definitely recommend the meat – the recipe came from the Pioneer Woman’s website where she bragged that it was the best lasagna ever… I was skeptical, but it was so delicious! I didn’t try the veggie, but Shana said it was good.

A fifty-percent accomplishment rate… not terrible, but I could have done better.
Oh well, in Seattle when the weather is nice you get outside and enjoy it, and I did! Here’s some pictures from the weekend as proof that I was outside soaking up the rays – a valid reason to neglect the honey-do list!

Hope you all had a great weekend!
