Pumpkin is the New Black

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that pumpkin is everywhere this season? And, I’m talking on a greater scale than before? It’s as if pumpkin is the new black.

Pumpkin decor, pumpkin candles, pumpkin cocktails and the pumpkin recipes… pumpkin coffee, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin popcorn, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin mac’ and cheese, pumpkin oatmeal, pumpkin ravioli – the list goes on and on.

Personally, I think it’s a bit out of control. But, then again, here I am about to share with you all my own pumpkin recipe: Grandma Waltz’s Pumpkin Bread.

This recipe rocks. It’s delicious, easy and did I say delicious? Soft but not gooey, and flavorful without have pumpkin thrown in your face. My grandma, Marie Waltz, used to make this for all her family and neighbors every fall. My mom, in tradition, did the same. And, now it’s my turn – and quite possibly yours too!

Here’s the easy-peasy recipe. Enjoy the trendy flavor of fall, pumpkin, and maybe even share with everyone your favorite pumpkin recipe too?

Grandma Waltz’s recipe!

The end result. Deeeliccious!
