Quilting

Baby Madelaine’s Quilt

I may have set a record for the longest stretch of time it’s taken me finish a quilt. I started a quilt for my cousin Sean and Michelle’s baby, Madelaine, when I found out they were expecting…  and 11 months later I finished it. But, I guess good things come to people who wait :: right!?

I decided to piece together some old fabric scraps that I had to put this quilt together. The color scheme isn’t quite one that you would expect for a little girl’s baby quilt … but, hopefully it won’t clash too much with her nursery!

I followed these instructions for the binding and often reference this previous DoaAC post along the quilting process.
