31 Days and Counting

Happy 1-month wedding anniversary to my husband, Michael!

It’s hard to believe that 31days ago Michael and I were standing in front of our family and friends reciting our wedding vows to one another! It’s been such a great first month that I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us!

Neither Michael or I are big on giving anniversary presents to one another (mainly because the anniversary of our first date falls right by Christmas and we’re both pretty gifted out by then) but I this time I decided to make Michael something small to commemorate this milestone. I wanted to give him something meaningful, whimsy and, since we’re still trying to mend our pocketbook since the wedding, something inexpensive! So I decided to do something that I had seen on Pinterest :: frame the dates in your relationship that are important. However, to change it up a bit I instead printed out the lyrics of the song that we danced to at our wedding and framed them for him.

Printing and framing the lyrics would be cute, but it just wasn’t given me that fun factor I was seeking. So I took the printed lyrics and cut them into heart shapes. Much more fun! Below are some pictures of how I did it and the final gift – I hope he’ll like it!

Happy 1-month anniversary babe :: lovens you!
